About MISL

 

MISL was established in 1999 at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Kyung Hee University. Until now, MISL has produced 4Ph.Ds and 4 Masters who are now working in various fields of biomedical engineering at universities, companies and research institutes. Among the many medical imaging modalities, MISL is focusing its research efforts on MRI and X-ray imaging. MISL is proud of many research outcomes in the field of MRI, X-ray imaging and ultrasound that have been transferred to the companies for commercialization. In addition to many research grants from Korean government, MISL has received grants from Samsung Electronics for MRI technology developments.
